ENGINEERING MANAGER

Responsibilities

Performs a professional engineering activities of a facilities such as project identification, oversees the work of technicians, prepares engineering plans, checks plans for conformity to building codes and engineering standard Provide technical information and support to other engineering and technical staff applying standards, processes and techniques adopted by the Department This job spends a significant amount of time managing and directing the operation of the facilities, projects or programs as well as providing skills as qualified licensed engineer.

Typical tasks may include:

1. Responsible for the operation of engineering, safety & security of facilities under our management;
2. Assist Facility Manager - Portfolio/Residential for setting-up of engineering organization structure;
3. Conduct regular Facility inspection to assure facility manager on site implement our Standard Operation Procedure, prepares recommendations regarding the result of the audit of engineering procedures or standards;
4. Provides written and oral responses to a variety of inquiries and problems;
5. Train subordinates/technicians according their job description I suitable position;
6. Conduct a methodical examination of the facilities;
7. Make a decision or solve problem by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions.
   

Basic/Required Qualifications

1. Willing and able to work sometime in weekend and after office hour.
2. Bachelor Degree majoring in Electrical.
3. Five years or more direct experience in building maintenance, construction, or facility engineering.



Preferred Qualifications

1. Minimum five years experience in building maintenance.
2. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects, and Outlook.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills and will be capable of giving work direction/oversight to work groups.
4. Demonstrate track record of achievement in innovation, teamwork and technical growth.
